Entries - General Rules
*Everybody who plans to run in this event, must be registered a week before the first qualifying event.
*Everyone must run under your real names.
*Everybody must be in teamspeak while your making your time runs, qualifying events, and the main event.
*You must keep a professional tone in Teamspeak and in the Race Server, Any flaming will be taken care of by EJECTING the driver who flames.
*Please be QUIET on teamspeak so the admins can give directions.
*Retaliation is not permitted, This will lead to a permanent ban from the Racing Event.
*This will be a OPEN SETUP event at Talladega OLR
*Main race will be 100% in length (188 laps).
*No aids allowed but will be open view.
*We are using the CTS mod PWF-project wild fire.
*Main race will be held on Saturday January 10th, 2009.
*Race Weather- FIX 70 Degrees with a random wind
Qualifying
*You may have TWO qualifying runs
*Your fastest Qualifying time is taken
*Top 5 fastest times will be LOCKED IN to the main event.
*If you make a 3rd Time Run you will be DISQUALIFIED
*Qualifying will take place like normal. We will have a choice of 4 days with a time frame of 4 hours with a session each half hour. This will help anyone who might have trouble making a certain time. Drivers can pick what day and time they want to qualify, But remember you only get TWO attempts to put up your best lap.
*DURING QUALIFYING YOU MUST BE IN A FORWARD MOTION NO GOING BACKWARDS AT ANY TIME, AND NO GOING BELOW APRON. THIS MEANS NO BURNOUTS.
*You must leave the pits in 1st GEAR OR HIGHER!!!!. This means don't go from N to 1st when leaving. We do not wanna see any smoke, No revving of the motor.
*After you complete your run you are to drive all the way to the backstretch then stop. You are to CUT YOUR REPLAY. Cut from the time of you first hit the track for qualifying to the time you stop on the backstretch.
*You will have up to 48 hours from the time the final qualifying order is posted after all 4 qual days are over to send in your replay.
*Not sending in a replay within that 48 hour time period will result in a Disqualification and we will move down to the 66th place qualifier and ask them for there replay and so on and so forth. THIS MEANS EVERYONE WHO TURNS A LAP TO SAVE A REPLAY FROM BOTH OF YOUR Q ATTEMPTS. Some people might not send them in from the top 65, So we ill move down to 66th then 67th etc.... Until we have our 65 guys to make the Q races.
*After all the Runs are complete, We will set you up in QUALIFYING RACES. ONLY 35 SPOTS AVAILABLE.

We have 65 total entries. Top 5 from qualifying are locked in. This leaves 60 Drivers trying to earn a spot using our qualifying procedure.
*You will then be split into two groups of 30 to run (3) 20% races.
The top 15 in points from each server will make it to the main event.
Qualifying dates and times:
*Day 1- December 3rd, Times- 6pm; 6:30pm; 7pm; 7:30pm; 8pm; 8:30pm; 9pm; 9:30pm; 10pm.
*Day 2- December 4th, Times- 6pm; 6:30pm; 7pm; 7:30pm; 8pm; 8:30pm; 9pm; 9:30pm; 10pm.
*Day 3- December 5th, Times- 6pm; 6:30pm; 7pm; 7:30pm; 8pm; 8:30pm; 9pm; 9:30pm; 10pm.
*Day 4- December 6th, Times- 3pm; 3:30pm; 4pm; 4:30pm; 5pm; 5:30pm; 6pm; 6:30pm; 7pm.
Qualifying races dates and times (Top 65 Fastest Qualifiers)
*Group 1 will consist of 30 drivers- Thursday December11th- Race1: 8pm Practice and server will be up at 7pm. Drivers meeting at 8:05 race at 8:15
*Group 2 will consist of 30 drivers- Thursday December 18th- Race1: 8pm Practice and server will be up at 7pm. Drivers meeting at 8:05 race at 8:15
*ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN STANDERD TIME.
*After the 1st of your 3 group races you will get a 5 minute practice/break in between sessions, Then we will start race #2. Same thing after race #2 you will get a 5 minute practice/break before your 3rd and final Qual race.
Qualifying race rules:

*There will be absolutely NO RESTARTS. Once we take the grid we are going to go from there.
*There is passing on the HIGH SIDE only on restarts. There is no passing on the very start of the race until after you cross the start/finish line.
*Low linning is allowed for the whole race. Blocking is allowed as well but block at your own risk. There is no reason to start blocking until about 10-20 laps to go.
*Bump drafting will be allowed but PLEASE DO NOT bump draft in the corners or tri-oval.
*There is no passing under the yellow line at all times.
*Make sure you are on Teamspeak for the drivers meeting and the race. You are to stay in the race channel, No switching of channels is allowed.
*Keep race chat to a minimal. Make sure you set up your whisper keys to talk to other drivers.
*Once the green flag drops there will be NO CHATTING AT ALL in the game. Take your convos to a whisper key by typing /# then the persons number. EX- /#44 Wanna go for dinner? Only race related chat is to be typed.
Causing a yellow and restarts:
*If you are involved or the cause of the yellow type in either a "i" for involved, Or a "c" for cause.
*If you cause a yellow and are called for bringing it out you will be PARKED! You will have to wait to your next race to race again.
*Intentional wrecking will not be allowed. If you do you will be EJECTED right away.
*Keep pace speed until you get the green flag from the starter. There is NO jumping of the restarts at all. This includes backing up to get a run on the driver in front of you.
*Causing a wreck under yellow will end up in a EOLL and -1 Lap penalty. There is no reason to have contact under yellow.
*We will be using the LD "Lucky Dog".
*If you receive the Lucky Dog award you are to speed down pit road 2nd time by and get a EOLL penalty. The admin will give you a lap upon going green.
*NO racing back until 5 laps to go!
Warping and connection problems:
*If you are warping we will ask you to drop back to the end of the field SAFLEY. If your ping is high and you know it start in the back of the pack. Do not be selfish and ruin someone else's race do to your connection issue.
*If a driver sees someone warping please say the # over Teamspeak and one of the admins will take a look.
*If you are asked to go to the back by a admin do not fight with them or you may be black flagged or even EJECTED.
*If your warping continues and gets really bad we will ask you to park your car. Again, there will be no fighting with the admins.
AKM 500 Race Rules:
